ราคาวัตถุดิบในการชุบหลักได้แก่ Zinc ที่ขึ้นราคาเป็นอย่างมากในช่วงที่ผ่านมา (LME ปิดวันที่ 21/5/67 ราคา 3,093 USD (ปรับขึ้น 46 USD)) ส่งผลให้ผู้ประกอบการทำงานได้อย่างยากลำบาก อย่างไรก็ตาม ทาง Soprin/KSB3 มีตัวเลือกในการลดต้นทุนดังกล่าวอย่างได้ผล อันได้แก่ FluxZinc/FZ หรือผงดำ ซึ่งสามารถนำ zinc ที่ไม่สามารถทำละลายได้อย่างสมบูรณ์และติดไปกับ ash/floating dross กลับลงมายังบ่อชุบ
